Quarterly, half-yearly, and annual exams — a dedicated Examiner marks reading, Hifz, Tajweed, and more for every student, kept separate from day-to-day progress tracking.
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
“Do the people think that they will be left to say, ‘We believe’ and they will not be tried?”
— Surah Al-Ankabut, 29:2
The Exams module runs your madrasa's formal exams — Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual, or any other type you name — completely separately from the day-to-day Sabaq/Sabqi/Manzil entries in Progress Tracking. An exam is organized as a session: you create it once, assign whichever classes are being examined, and put one Examiner in charge of each class's marking.
Marking an exam is kept separate from teaching it — a class's own teacher can see the results afterward, but marking itself is done by an Examiner (ممتحن), a role with its own login created specifically for this. Add one from the Examiners tab, then assign them to a class within the exam session — that Examiner is now the only one who can enter marks for that class, this session.
Before the exam, set which portion each student is actually being tested on — this is recorded per student, so a class can still be examined together even if not every student is exactly at the same point in their own Hifz or Nazira progress.
The Examiner logs in, opens their assigned class, and marks each student across five parts:
A short remark can be added alongside a student's marks — useful context for the teacher and parent, not just a number.
Once marking is underway, the exam session's own results view shows every class, and which students are Complete or still Pending — so nothing gets missed before results go out. Results can be printed directly from the same screen.
